THURSDAY, JUNE 12th's SPOTLIGHT
Blink 182 - "The Rock Show"

Throwback Thursday! 13 years ago today, Blink 182 released their album "Take Off Your Pants & Jacket", which became a #1 album in the US and a hugely nostalgic album for anyone in their teens at the time. (Ask me how I know...) - Micki

PAST SPOTLIGHTS

6/11
The Orwells - "Let It Burn"

When Dave Letterman's your biggest fan, good chance your band's going to get pretty popular pretty quickly! Most loved song from the New Music Test Department last Sunday, and a band you would see if you got to Riot Fest in Chicago...
6/10
Body Count - "Back to Rehab"

In honor of "National Iced Tea Day" (where the hell does Creepy Pete get these silly holiday ideas?) - Ice T in the spotlight! ...kind of. The rapper/actor's band, Body Count sets out to conquer Mayham Festival this year, and they're releasing a new album, "Manslaughter" (their first since 2006.) Might I suggest drinking iced tea while listening to Body Count's new song?
6/9
Godsmack - "1000 HP"

Brand new Godsmack - HELL YEAH!!! Make sure you check out Ego's interview with frontman Sully Erna (find Ego's page and you find the interview.) Turns out, Tucson holds a special place in Erna's heart. Who would've thought?
6/6
Rome - "If The World"

Perfect song for a Friday night! Can't quite call it new music from Rome Ramirez, seeing as he's performed it with Sublime a few times since April, but this song kicks ass.
6/5
311 - "Do You Right"

Celebrating the 44th birthday of the wicked Nebraskan bassist, P-nut! Decided to go old school 311, to really show of that guy's talents.
6/4
Squirrel Nut Zippers - "Hell"

Here's a band name you don't hear very often...Squirrel Nut Zippers! Their platinum album "Hot" was released on today's date in 1996. Also, this song is just plain awesome.
6/3
Pennywise - "Violence Never Ending"

On July 15th, they'll release a new album called "Yesterdays," which showcases a mix of unreleased tracks and fan favorites. This tasty 2 minute single is one of the new songs. Also worth mentioning: Pennywise goes on tour with Bad Religion & The Offspring this summer. They land in Mesa, AZ on August 29th.
6/2
Linkin Park - "Wastelands"

What luck! A third new single from their upcoming album, "The Hunting Party" (out June 17th.)
